APRIL 13--A series of free half-day seminars designed to introduce infrared (IR) thermography to engineers and others involved in research and development and process control has been established by FLIR Systems (N. Billerica, MA; www.flir.com). The InfraForum Open Houses cover how IR imaging works; how IR temperature-measurement systems are used for designing, testing, or monitoring applications that demand superior thermal uniformity and/or controlled heat dissipation; the latest report-generation software available; and hands-on access to the latest thermal-imaging equipment and measurement systems.
