Radiant Imaging sales jump 68% in 2004
FEBRUARY 4--Radiant Imaging (Duvall, WA; www.radiantimaging.com) has reported a record sales increase of 68% for the year ended December 31, 2004, for its products targeting the display-characterization and light-source-measurement markets. "We believe that two factors contributed to this strong growth," notes Radiant president and chief technology officer Ron Rykowski. "First, we introduced new application-specific products targeted at three key market segments: flat panel, OLED, projection and LED display manufacturers. These unique products combine our imaging colorimeters and photometers with specialized software to enable turnkey access to sophisticated testing functionality for both production-line personnel and R&D engineers. Sales of these application-specific solutions accounted for more than half of our growth during the last year."
Rykowski adds, "The other important factor was an expansion in our international distribution network, particularly in Asia, where much of the growth in the display area is occurring. We also increased our presence in Europe, adding new distributors in the Netherlands, Great Britain, France, and Germany."
