JANUARY 3--Eastman Kodak Company (Rochester, NY; www.kodak.com) has named Candy M. Obourn chief operating officer of the company's Health Imaging unit, effective immediately. Obourn is currently a senior vice president of Kodak and had been president of the company's Document Imaging business.In her new position, Obourn will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of Kodak's second-largest unit.
Obourn, began her career at Kodak as a systems analyst in 1974. She later held executive positions in Management Information Systems, Corporate Planning, Business Imaging Systems and Document Imaging. She was named President of Business Imaging Systems in October 1995 and was given additional responsibility in April 1998 for the Office Imaging division, which manufactured copiers and supplies.
