FEBRUARY 6--InVision Technologies Inc. (Newark, CA; www.invision-tech.com) has received several orders totaling approximately $8.2 million for explosives-detection systems from three customers outside of the United States: the Transportation Ministry of Canada has ordered multiple CTX 9000DSi systems in that country's first order of InVision equipment; Service Technique des Bases Aeriennes--a French government agency responsible for the testing and regulation of aviation security technologies and the operation of the French airports outside of Paris--has ordered additional CTX 2500 systems under a three-year CTX 2500 master supply agreement announced in September 2001; and El Al Israel Airlines has ordered CTX 2500 and CTX 5500DS systems. This follows an order from El Al announced in September 2001 for CTX 2500 EDS.

These orders call for delivery of equipment in the second through fourth quarters of this year.

InVision Technologies develops, manufactures, markets, and supports explosive-detection systems based on advanced computed-tomography technology for civil aviation security.
