InVision Technologies CTX 9000DSi systems to be used at San Francisco International Airport

FEBRUARY 15--InVision Technologies Inc. (Newark, CA; www.invision.com) has received an order from the US Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) for multiple CTX 9000DSi explosives-detection systems valued at approximately $13.7 million. The FAA has indicated that this equipment will be provided to San Francisco International Airport.

InVision Technologies develops, manufactures, markets, and supports explosives-detection systems based on advanced computed-tomography technology for civil aviation security. InVision, through its wholly owned subsidiaries, also develops and commercializes technologies used for other security purposes as well as scanning, optimization and control systems for the forest products industry.
