At VISION 2016, VREO will showcase its VREO Liberty board, which is designed to provide a USB 3.0 interface for Sony’s FCB block cameras, and extends the range of cameras that can be integrated into your USB 3.0 products. Liberty is capable of streaming 1080p at 30 fps over USB 3.0 and includes push button inputs for camera zoom control, pulse width modulation output for external LED light control, and a selectable power supply for the attached camera. In addition to the board being powered over the USB bus, there is an option to provide camera power via an auxiliary power input connector. Additionally, the Liberty board comes with a free software development kit that includes an application programming interface and the source code for the OneView viewer program.
