SEPTEMBER 15--CEDIP Infrared Systems (Croissy-Beaubourg, France;www.cedip.infrared.com), specialist in thermal infrared camera technology, has recently achieved ISO 9001-2000 certification as an extension of its previous ISO 9001-1994 certificate. The audit was performed by the international Bureau Veritas Quality International (BVQi). The ISO 9001-2000 certification has been extended to the French (COFRAQ), UK (UKAS,) and German (DAR) standards.

The ISO 9001-2000 certification is the result of two years of planning and implementation during which the management team had to structure the operations into detailed processes and build up quality monitoring reports. This new QA system is now fully operational and is being used as the foundation of everyday work in the company. Commenting on the new quality system, president Pierre Potet stated, "I have no doubt that it will contribute to helping us build even more reliable, high-performance products that better serve our customers."

CEDIP Infrared Systems designs and manufactures a full range of infrared systems dedicated to infrared analysis and temperature measurement applications.
