JUNE 27--Research Systems Inc. (RSI; Boulder, CO), a wholly owned subsidiary of Eastman Kodak Company, will hold a series of free international seminars showcasing RSI's IDL 6.0 software. The seminars are intended to inform new and long-time users of IDL, RSI's analysis and visualization programming package, about new product features and functionality. CEO Richard Cooke will make a keynote speech at select locations.
Scheduled for release in late July, IDL 6.0 is a major product release and offers significant enhancements in the areas of flexibility and ease of use. Current IDL users and those new to IDL will immediately accelerate data analysis, visualization, and application development with IDL 6.0. Among the new features are IDL Intelligent Tools, IDL-Java Bridge, and IDL Virtual Machine.
