OCTOBER 27--DALSA (Waterloo, ON, Canada;www.dalsa.com) has released its HS-41 high-sensitivity linescan camera, which combines TDI technology, increased programmability, and industry-standard Camera Link in a low-cost small-body format. Based on its PIRANHA2 cameras, the HS-41 is a 2048 resolution camera that includes programmable stage selection and provides more than 50x the sensitivity of linescan for high-speed, light-starved applications. With line rates exceeding 52 kHz, the HS-41 delivers optimal performance along with an easy-to-use interface.
"Our customers need to deliver high-performance inspection systems, systems that are accurate, fast and economical," commented Mark Butler, DALSA product manager for VFM. "Our high-sensitivity HS-41 camera combines exemplary image quality, high speed, and responsivity to meet these needs."
The HS-41 is compatible with any medium Camera Link frame grabber and comes with an F-mount adapter or M42x1 thread for quick lens attachment. The excellent responsivity of the HS-41 combined with LED lighting makes the HS-41 an ideal choice for automated postal letter sorting, document scanning, and web inspection.
