PerkinElmer Optoelectronics wins $16 million In new deals

JULY 30--PerkinElmer Optoelectronics (Fremont, CA; optoelectronics.perkinelmer.com), a provider of integrated platforms for biomedical and industrial applications, has been awarded more than $16 million in new military-aerospace industry deals.

JULY 30--PerkinElmer Optoelectronics (Fremont, CA; optoelectronics.perkinelmer.com), a provider of integrated platforms for biomedical and industrial applications, has been awarded more than $16 million in new military-aerospace industry deals. These new orders include CCD cameras that provide accurate images for airborne reconnaissance and night-vision applications, rugged fluorescent interior lights for the International Space Station, optical assemblies that provide navigation functions for missile guidance systems, and logistical support for electronic assemblies in strategic weapons systems.

PerkinElmer has also delivered infrared (IR) illuminator subsystems, high-intensity hand-held devices with IR light engines, radiant sources, power regulation, battery chargers, optical filters, reflectors, and other optics technologies for active reconnaissance and remote security surveillance.
