Free software release from Banner Engineering enables multi-tool inspections
A free firmware update for Banner Engineering’s iVu Plus TG enables the vision sensor to complete multi-tool inspections. The update, which does not require a PC and is easy to install, enables operators to conduct multiple simultaneous jobs such as match, area, blemish, and sort inspections. Banner’s iVu Plus TG vision sensors features 752 x 480 pixel, 1/3” CMOS image sensors with an adjustable field of view. It also features a touch-screen for programming on the factory floor, adjustable focus lenses, rugged IP67 housing, and inspection system logging. Banner Engineering will showcase the iVu Plus TG, along with its new capabilities, at Pack Expo 2013. Download the free firmware here.
