AUGUST 13--German machine-vision-component distributor Stemmer Imaging GmbH (Puchheim, Germany) has appointed Christof Zollitsch chief technical officer. In addition to his sales functions, the former vice president, sales and marketing, will be responsible for the technical management of the component distributor. Stemmer Imaging founder and CEO Wilhelm Stemmer will concentrate on the strategic alignment of the company.
The company is one of Germany�s leading distributors of machine-vision components. It has 40 employees and had a revenue of 18 million euros in the last business year (July 2000--June 2001).
