    OCTOBER 18--Machine-vision-component distributor Stemmer Imaging GmbH (Puchheim, Germany; www.stemmer-imaging.de) has promoted Christof Zollitsch to chief technical officer. In addition to his sales functions, the former vice president of sales and marketing will be responsible for the technical management of distribution. Company founder and chief executive officer Wilhelm Stemmer will concentrate on economic and strategic policies.
