Framos and Smartek Deliver Strobe Controller Series
High-end LED illumination controllers for real professionals

Camberley, UK – Framos Electronics, an established supplier of image processing systems, and Smartek, a Croatian electronics company, announce high-end LED illumination controllers for professional applications.

Smartek’s Strobe Controller (SC) series is renowned for its switching capacity and precision for industrial machine vision applications. Latest models have Ethernet or RS232 control interfaces, with full SDK support for both Windows and Linux o/s. The family of strobe controllers features 1, 2, 4 or 6 parallel channel options, both digital and analogue light-head coding, an integrated temperature sensor and built-in power supply – all supplied in an industrial and compact anodised aluminium case.

They can deliver high power pulses of up to 8A and 200V per channel at 1µs pulse duration. Pulse duration is also widely variable from 1µs to 1000ms and with low trigger latency and very low jitter. Inline current and voltage measurements ensure the lighting is never overdriven to damaging levels.

The supplied software provides a simple interface to control and manage each output channel individually plus the triggering parameters. Triggers are rising edge 0-5V or 0-24V with either positive or negative edge.
