AUGUST 26, 2008--Imaging components distributor Cooper Vision Technologies (Ottawa, ON, Canada;www.covistech.com) has announced a distribution agreement with BitFlow Inc. (Woburn, MA, USA; www.bitflow.com), a developer of frame grabbers and software.
Kevin Cooper, Covistech's president, says that his company will look forward to working with BitFlow, especially in terms of distributing its frame grabbers just developed last year, which, he says, "take full advantage of the high bandwidth available in the PCI Express bus." The new boards all feature BitFlow'sFlowThru technology, which provides zero latency access to data, low CPU usage, and unlimited DMA destination size, notes Cooper.
Bob Wolfe, BitFlow's director of sales, says, "We understand how expensive and time consuming it can be to have new frame grabbers, or any components, change inside a customer's system. BitFlow and Covistech are committed to the long-term sales and support that customers need to be successful in their markets."
