The new 1394 over coax repeater S800 FireNEX-COAXT uses a single cable to transfer 1394 signal at 800 Mbits/s over 50 m, offering a reliable long-distance connection for machine-vision applications. Standard coax cables enable low-cost connections, terminations by the end user, and the possibility of using existing cabling infrastructure, as well as offering high EMC performance.
