Sensoray’s Model 2263S is a USB audio/video encoder that captures HD or SD video and simultaneously sends a compressed and an uncompressed (preview) stream to the host. The encoder supports DVI, component, and composite video inputs and audio is optionally captured from analog line input, compressed and multiplexed into transport stream. The USB bus-powered device features H.264 video compression, which produces an MPEG transport stream or in MP4 or AVI file formats, and also features a software development kit for Windows, Linux, and OS X. The Model 2263S—which is controlled using a video API (DirectShow or Video4Linux)—is suitable for use in video pipeline inspection, radar and sonar processing, remote video surveillance, and traffic monitoring applications.
