Axis Communications releases surveillance cameras designed for transportation vehicles

Offering IP67 protection against dust and water and being able to withstand vibrations, shocks, bumps, and temperature fluctuations, the AXIS R39-R cameras are ideal for video surveillance in buses, trains, subway cars, and other transportation vehicles.

Offering IP67 protection against dust and water and being able to withstand vibrations, shocks, bumps, and temperature fluctuations, the AXIS P39-R cameras are ideal for video surveillance in buses, trains, subway cars, and other transportation vehicles. The cameras are available in 1 and 2 MPixel models and feature 1/2.8” progressive scan RGB CMOS image sensors, a 30 fps frame rate in all resolutions, Power over Ethernet, and an M12 lens mount. In addition, the cameras feature Traffic Light mode, which helps the cameras better distinguish colors of traffic lights in dark scenes. AXIS P39-R cameras also have 256MB of memory, AXIS Camera Companion, and AXIS Camera Station and video management software.
