JANUARY 4, 2010--Präzisionsoptik Gera (POG), located in Gera, Germany, has announced the formation of a US subsidiary, Precision Optics Gera Corp., effective Jan. 1, 2010.
Employing a highly trained staff of 100, POG is a manufacturer of custom and standard microstructures on glass and ceramics -- reticules, scales, calibration targets, and test patterns. Complete in-house processing including design, photolithography, coating, and assembly enables quality for serial production and small batch quantities. POG also designs, develops, and produces custom optical systems and components from the UV through IR for machine vision, semiconductor industry, aerospace, and defense.
POG's new sales offices are located in Florida and Colorado. POG will exhibit at upcoming SPIE conferencesPhotonics West in January and Defense, Security in April.
