Edmund Optics increases focus on Taiwan

Edmund Optics (EO; Barrington, NJ, USA) continues its expansion in Asia with the opening of an office in Taichung City, Taiwan, and appointment of Johnson Chang to lead its Taiwan sales operations.

Chang's knowledge and experience in vision integration systems and imaging lenses adds tremendous strength to our Asian team."

In his role as Sales Manager, Johnson Chang will spearhead further development of EO's Taiwan presence. Chang joins EO after having worked in precision optics for over 12 years at one of Taiwan's most established lens manufacturing businesses.

In preparation and support of their Taiwan office EO recently launched a new website, and produced a tailored edition of its catalogue containing over 22,700 off-the-shelf optical components especially for the Taiwan market. EO also plans to hold a series of Vision Seminars in Taipei in the summer of 2011.
