PCI Express frame grabber is cost-effective

Jan. 29, 2007
A new PCI Express model extends the mvDELTA family. As a result of the disablable automatic gain-controller (AGC) function, specific applications are now viable since unwanted fluctuation in brightness is eliminated. The frame grabber can handle composite and Y/C color video signals and has a PCI master DMA interface for real-time data transfer to the main memory of the PC or graphics card. Images are digitized in high quality with the full PAL resolution of 768 × 576 pixels.

A new PCI Express model extends the mvDELTA family. As a result of the disablable automatic gain-controller (AGC) function, specific applications are now viable since unwanted fluctuation in brightness is eliminated through continuous AGC activity. The frame grabber can handle composite and Y/C color video signals and has a PCI master DMA interface for real-time data transfer to the main memory of the PC or graphics card. Images are digitized in high quality with the full PAL resolution of 768 × 576 pixels. The board provides four software-switchable video inputs (with up to 50 frames/s) for composite video signals, whereas one input can be operated optionally as a Y/C input. The mvIMPACT Base library is included with the frame grabber.
