JANUARY 18--Paul van der Velde, director and owner of Vision Light Tech (VLT; www.visionlighttech.com) in The Netherlands, has announced the formation of Vision Light Tech USA (VLTUSA). William Biederman, a veteran of the machine-vision LED lighting business will be managing director of VLTUSA. Located in Middlebury, VT, VLTUSA will be a solutions-focused business modeled closely after the parent company and servicing the machine-vision market with lighting, lensing, and filtering products.
VLT was founded in 1998 and offers a wide range of illumination, lens, and filter solutions. Its products are used in the industrial machine-vision-system business and license-plate-recognition market.
