FLIR Systems receives US CBP contract

JUNE 21, 2007--FLIR Systems (Portland, OR, USA) has been awarded a contract by US Customs and Border Protection (CBP) for Ranger II multisensor systems.

JUNE 21, 2007--FLIR Systems (Portland, OR, USA; www.flir.com) has been awarded a contract by US Customs and Border Protection (CBP) for Ranger II multisensor systems valued at $6 million. The systems will be installed along the southern US border as upgrades to older thermal-imaging systems.

This order represents the largest single order from CBP that FLIR has won to date. Systems will be manufactured in FLIR's facility in Billerica, MA, USA, and deliveries will take place in the third quarter of 2007.
