At SPIE Photonics West 2017, Canon U.S.A. will showcase its new businessfor CMOS image sensors. The company will have three of its new CMOS image sensors on display and the company’s experts will be on hand to discuss the new sensor products with attendees. On display will be a 2.2 MPixel progressive scan, rolling shutter CMOS sensor that features a 19 µm pixel size and a 5 MPixel progressive can, global shutter CMOS image sensor that features a 3.4 µm pixel size. Additionally, Canon will showcase a 120 MPixel progressive scan, rolling shutter CMOS image sensor, which features a 2.2 µm pixel size. The 2.2 MPixel and 120 MPixel sensors are available in RGB color, RGB + IR color, or monochrome, and the 5 MPixel sensor is available in RGB color.
