JUNE 4--FEINFOCUS (Stamford, CT), a global manufacturer of x-ray inspection systems and tubes, is offering a worldwide technical seminar program on x-ray inspection technology. Seminars will be tailored to the audience and focus on specific applications from x-ray inspection fundamentals, to traditional nondestructive-testing techniques, to lead-free analysis and 3-D inspection of electronics assemblies and packaging. FEINFOCUS technical seminars are being held in various countries around the world.
The seminars are being organized by Udo E. Frank, director of technology development at FEINFOCUS. An expert in the field of x-ray inspection, Frank has published several articles on advanced x-ray inspection technologies and has been at the forefront of recent innovations at FEINFOCUS.
FEINFOCUS has cooperated with its regional representatives in developing the seminar schedule, with courses planned for the Americas, Asia, and Europe. The first seminar in 2004 was held on 22 April in Korea, hosted by FEINFOCUS representative, Elecsys, and was attended by more than two dozen engineers.
