Play OptiLex, a Weekly Word Game from VSD | July 15, 2026

With OptiLex, each week brings a five-letter puzzle—an algorithmic guessing game designed to refine your technical vocabulary under constraints.

Inspired by the ever-popular Wordle, Vision Systems Design’s weekly OptiLex challenges you to guess a five-letter word related to machine vision. Each week there’s a new word, a new challenge and a chance to flex your word play abilities.

How to Play

Think of the grid as your design layout. Enter a five-letter word related to machine vision, engineering, and/or system integration.

Green letters indicate you guessed the correct letter in the correct place.
Yellow letters indicate that the letter is in the word but not in the correct position.
Gray letters indicate that the letter is not in the solution at all.

You have six tries to guess the word. After you complete the puzzle, you’ll have the option to fill out a few questions and see how you rank among your competitors.
