Computar has released five new lenses, including three new additions to its LensConnect series of machine vision lenses, the ML 2Z0525UC-MPWIR, ML3Z1226UC-MPW, and VL2Z2533UM6C-MPWIR.

All three are 9MPixel vari-focal lenses equipped with remote focus and zoom control, UCB interface, and are C-mounted. The ML 2Z0525UC-MPWIR has a 5.5 – 12.7mm focal length; the ML3Z1226UC-MPW has a 12-36mm focal length. Both are especially designed for short range close up working distance.

The VL2Z2533UM6C-MPWIR has a 25-50 mm focal length and is suitable for larger format sensors such as the Sony IMX183.

In addition to the LensConnect additions, Computar released a 4K fisheye lense and 4K varifocal lense.

The new lenses are especially designed for machine vision applications that are performed in challenging environments and difficult to reach locations.
