White laser light source offers 450 lumens

May 21, 2020
The LaserLight SMD is suited for long range applications.

LaserLight SMD is a laser white light emitter in a 7 mm SMD package that features 450 lumen and 6000 K CCT with a luminance of 1000 Mcd/m2. With a 35 mm optic, directional light can be generated with beam angles of 2° or less. Based on patented semipolar GaN laser diodes, the sources use advanced phosphor technology.

The manufacturer estimates that the LaserLight SMD exhibits long throw distances of up to 10x that of an LED, suited for long range applications. It offers a sharp beam cutoff, high contrast light field gradients and is scalable into tiled array configurations. Its low divergence and waveguide delivery properties are used in medical, biomedical, machine vision and specialty illumination applications.
