Scientific camera line features greater than 95 percent quantum efficiency

April 5, 2021
Appropriate applications include single molecule imaging.

The Evolve EMCCD camera line features models with pixel sizes of 10, 13, and 16 µm and according to the manufacturer greater than 95% QE, making the cameras suitable for single molecule imaging and total internal reflection fluorescence applications. Read noise is as low as 0.25 e-.

With image sensors designed by Teledyne e2v, the cameras offer up to 61 fps in high-speed readout mode, with frame rates up to 4000 fps when regions of interest are utilized. The cameras support GigE interface.
