New installations

Identix Inc. (Sunnyvale, CA), a manufacturer of live-scan systems and biometric identification systems, and NEC Technologies Inc. (Itasca, IL) are installing NEC`s LS-21 fingerprint-verification workstation, which integrates NEC`s proprietary automated fingerprint-identification system with Identix`s live-scan and docucolor mugshot technologies, in the Cook County, IL, Sheriff`s department. NEC is also installing more than 120 LS-21 systems in Chicago police agencies.
