Vista Controls acquires Peritek Corp.
AUGUST 11--VISTA Controls (Santa Clarita, CA; www.VISTAcontrols.com), a Curtiss-Wright Co. and a manufacturer of mission-critical systems for military and severe-environment applications, has disclosed that Peritek Corp. (Oakland, CA; www.peritek.com) has become a business unit of VISTA Controls, following the acquisition of Peritek by parent company Curtiss-Wright Corp.
Peritek's graphics controllers include PMC, PCI, CompactPCI, and VME platforms that support a number of operating languages including SolarisTM, Windows, Linux, VxWorks, and Lynux O/S. Also supplying products for bomb detection, industrial automation, and medical imaging, Peritek maintains a customer base of key defense industry leaders such as Lockheed Martin, Northrop Grumman, Boeing, Raytheon, BAE Systems, and General Dynamics.
The Peritek business unit will be part of the VISTA Controls Santa Clarita operation run by David Dietz, vice president and general manager; Peritek will maintain its brand identity and continue to operate from its headquarters in Oakland.
A third VISTA Controls design and manufacturing center, employing 125 people, is located in Littleton, MA.
