Fakespace Systems merges with Mechdyne Corp.

APRIL 9--Fakespace Systems (Marshalltown, IA; www.fakespace.com) has finalized its merger with Mechdyne Corp.

APRIL 9--Fakespace Systems (Marshalltown, IA; www.fakespace.com) has finalized its merger with Mechdyne Corp. The new company is positioned to deliver a broader product offering, more detailed services, and end-to-end user support on a global scale.
Fakespace will continue to focus on markets such as energy, federal government, manufacturing, life sciences, and education, while exploring opportunities in other areas such as enterprisewide visualization, including onsite facility management. The new company will be called Fakespace Systems.

Chris Clover, previously chief executive officer of Mechdyne Corp., will be the new chief executive officer. Carol Leaman, previously president of Fakespace Systems, will serve as new president. Additionally, the company named five vice presidents from both companies to drive future business strategies.

The merged company will operate worldwide with significant presence in Europe, the Middle East, Africa, Asia, and North and South America.
