Genesis has publicly announced the gmZAN1 in monitors from Fujitsu, LG, NEC, Samsung, Sharp, and Tatung--plus many other manufacturers who sell monitor subsystems to brand-name PC companies.
Introduced last year, the gmZAN1 LCD controller combines the company's patented algorithms and architectures to 'piece together' the best analog-interface technology Genesis has to offer. This includes Genesis's advanced scaling process and its proven 8-bit triple ADC. The gmZAN1 will support resolutions from SVGA to SXGA and serves the analog-interface market, the largest segment of the LCD monitor market.
