DIAS Infrared Systems will showcase its infrared fire surveillance system—which consists of its PYROVIEW 380L and 640L infrared cameras and PYROSOFT FDS imaging software— at SPIE DSS 2014 from May 5-9 in Baltimore, MD. The PYROVIEW 380L camera features an uncooled 384 x 288 microbolometer array, a 50 fps frame rate, a spectral range of 8 µm to 14 µm, and IP54 aluminum housing. The PYROVIEW 640L camera features an uncooled 640 x 480 microbolometer array, a 50 fps frame rate, a spectral range of 8 µm to 14 µm, IP54 aluminum housing, and a GigE interface. PYROSOFT FDS software enables users to check the temperatures inside a particular region of interest. An alarm will be raised in the event that predefined temperature limits are exceeded, and the current infrared image will be saved. These infrared fire detection systems are suitable for use in waster bunkers, paper factories, recycling storage, forests, and wood buildings.
