Scientific sensors feature square-pixel format

Two new CCDs from EEV both feature 1k ¥ 1k sensors and 13-µm square pixels. CCD47 is intended for applications where low readout noise is important. The sensor is available in frame-transfer (CCD47-20) and full-frame versions (CCD47-10), in front and back-illuminated form. The CCD48 is a front-illuminated device and has been designed as a fast frame sensor with on-chip antiblooming structures.
