OCTOBER 24--Danaher Corporation (Salem, NH), a manufacturer of motion-control products and systems, has acquired Dover Instrument Corporation in a transaction completed late in September.

OCTOBER 24--Danaher Corporation (Salem, NH), a manufacturer of motion-control products and systems, has acquired Dover Instrument Corporation in a transaction completed late in September. Dover will become part of the Danaher Motion Group, a business platform that consists of many leading brands in the North American and European markets.

Over the past 30 years, Dover engineers have designed and implemented air-bearing systems that operate in a multitude of high-performance applications. These systems are deployed around the globe and have proven performance in critical manufacturing and analytical installations. Air-bearing gantries, air-bearing spindles, fully integrated spin stands, metrology equipment, and other custom stage designs constitute the core of the Dover product offering.
