APRIL 1, 2009--EyeColorInspect is based on the Advanced Color Match system to solve color matching problems. The vision sensor allows the user to choose one matched color from a multitude of colors in order to realize further evaluations; the color can be changed anytime. The criteria that should be checked are arranged in a row or in a matrix. The user decides on the number of sensors that should be arranged and then has the ability to switch on and switch off the arranged sensors. The color and form can be defined in the activated sensors. Potential applications can range from the inspection of fuse boxes in the automotive industry to controlling assembly of colored crayon packages.
