Ircon adds to sales force

JUNE 1--Ircon (www.ircon.com), a manufacturer of noncontact temperature-measurement products, has added additional people to help strengthen its sales force in several markets.

JUNE 1--Ircon (www.ircon.com), a manufacturer of noncontact temperature-measurement products, has added additional people to help strengthen its sales force in several markets. The Asian market continues to see record growth for Ircon. In southern China, Ircon has added Patrick Tang as a regional sales manager. Patrick is based in Ircon's Guangzhou office and will be responsible for all of China's southern provinces from Fujian to Yunnan. With an engineering degree from JiangSu Institute of Agriculture and former experience as a sales engineer for Mettler Toledo (www.mt.com). Tang will work directly with Ircon end users and will support Ircon sales channels in this region.

Ircon has also reached an agreement with two new representatives in Canada. Provan Control Associates (www.provan.ca) will represent Ircon in Quebec and the eastern counties of Ontario. Based in Montreal with multiple offices in Quebec City and the South Shore, Provan has almost 30 years of experience working with mining, steel, and timber customers in eastern Canada. ACI Instrumentation ( www.aciinstrumentation.on.ca) will represent Ircon in Ontario. ACI is based in the Toronto suburbs and will represent Ircon in Ontario's southwestern counties and the Lake Huron border counties up to Lake Superior.
