Cooled camera looks to microscopy

Aimed at microscopy applications, the DEI-3750T is a Peltier-cooled three-chip video camera that can capture noise-free images during exposure times as long as two minutes. The camera controller contains a built-in image memory that allows continuous display of full-frame images during long exposure times. On-chip image integration gives exposure times from 1/10,000 s to 2 min. The controller also contains a DSP board that allows real-time image enhancement to expand the fine detail of soft-focus or low-contrast images.
