Blue Wave Systems has unveiled an evaluation/development system for the Texas Instruments 250-MHz TMS320C6202 fixed-point digital-signal processor (DSP). The system includes the PCI/C6202-EVM DSP board with a 2000-MIPS fixed-point C6202 processor, 3-Mbit (SRAM) to 32-Mbyte (SDRAM) storage, 1-Mbyte flash memory, a 32-bit PCI interface, and a single-width IEEE 1386.1-compliant PMC site.
