The Python/C67 single-slot quad board uses the Texas Instruments TMS320C6701 floating-point digital-signal processor to achieve 1 GFLOPS at 167 MHz. Processing features include more than 100 I/O functions via on-board PMC and IP modules and on-board JTAG for debugging. A 200-Mbyte/s auxiliary bus (CAB) interface supports I/O expansion, and 4 Mbytes of shared memory and 400-Mbyte/s inter-DSP links speed access to shared data.
