JANUARY 9, 2009--The PureBeam laser is a temperature-stabilized, fiber-coupled device intended for bioinstrumentation applications, including flow cytometry, confocal microscopy, bio-detection, and DNA sequencing, as well as other high-end applications. It features a single-mode optical fiber delivery system with high power stability and low noise at the fiber exit. Available wavelengths range from 375-830 nm. For uniform flat-top illumination, the laser can be integrated with the company's flat-top generator, a refractive beam shaper that converts a Gaussian beam to flat-top with almost no optical loss.
