MiR releases smaller-sized goods transportation robot

The MiR250 is designed to navigate in tightly-spaced environments.

The MiR250 autonomous mobile robot is built for internal goods transportation, with a maximum payload of 250 kg. The robot is 800 (L) x 580 (W) by 300 (H) mm in size and designed to navigate through tight industrial spaces such as 80 cm door openings, small elevators, and under tables.

Sensors include two SICK Nanoscan 3 laser scanners with 360° field of view (FoV), two Intel RealSense D435 3D cameras that can detect objects 1800 mm high at 1200 mm range, and eight proximity sensors, with a total horizontal view of 114° and minimum ground view distance of 250 mm. Interface options include four digital inputs and outputs and one Ethernet port. The MiR250 supports 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz WiFi connections with two internal antennas and meets EN 1525: 1997, B56.5-2012 and ISO/FDIS 3691-4 safety standards.
