TheHyper-Cam, a hyperspectral imager employing Fourier transform infrared (FTIR) technology, introduces new features to facilitate operation and data processing, now enabling a GPS and a compass to be added to the system. With these geospatial capabilities, data cubes are now UTC time-stamped along with GPS coordinates and heading information. Data can be easily correlated with any other spatial and time-referenced information and are transferred via Camera Link interface.

Telops Releases Upgrade of the Hyper-Cam Series

QUEBEC, CANADA – Telops is pleased to announce the release of a new version of its hyperspectral imager, the Hyper-Cam. The new version of the Hyper-Cam introduces new features to facilitate the operation and the data processing.

The new features include the possibility to add a GPS and a compass. With these Geospatial capabilities included in the Hyper-Cam, Data Cubes are now UTC time-stamped along with GPS coordinates and Heading information. The new version of the Hyper-Cam will provide improved thermal resistance of critical components for a more robust system under elevated temperature operation. "Not only is the new version of the Hyper-Cam more performing, but it also includes lots of new features which will facilitate the life of our customers both for the operation of the Hyper-Cam and for the data handling," says Paul Chabot, VP Sales and Marketing at Telops.
