There was no shortage of headlines when it comes to aerospace imaging applications in 2013. Specifically, we covered a good number of stories dealing with imaging in space, including the capturing of an image of Earth from Saturn’s view, the third unmanned rover to land on the moon, and a number of stories about imaging Mars.
In addition, we covered a number of products that related to aerospace or astronomy imaging. Here is a look at some of these articles and products that we covered in 2013:
- Cassini spacecraft image shows Earth, Saturn, Venus, and Mars all at once
- Filming a leap from the edge of space
- Gaia Telescope and its billion-pixel digital camera lift off
- Image analysis algorithm will help NASA's Curiosity Rover analyze Mars soil
- Hubble telescope captures images of most known distant galaxy
- Chinese robot moon rover sends back first images
