XIMEA introduces new line of scientific grade USB3 cameras

XIMEA has announced the releases of its xiD line of scientific grade USB3 cameras, which will be showcased at the AIA VISION Show in Boston from April 15-17.

XIMEA has announced the release of its xiD line of scientific grade USB3 cameras, which will be showcased at the AIA Vision Show in Boston from April 15-17. The xiD cameras are compact USB 3.0 cameras that feature Sony EXView HAD CCD II image sensors with pixel sizes from 3.1 µm to 4.54 µm, depending on the model. The cameras feature frame rates of 15 fps, 20 fps, 30 fps, and 60 fps and are available in 2.8 MPixel, 6.1 MPixel, 9.1 MPixel, and 12 MPixel models. In addition, the xiD cameras are available in Peltier-cooled and board-level models and are suitable for use in UAVs, flat panel inspection, microscopy, intelligent traffic systems, and barcode reading applications. XIMEA will also showcase its xiB line of PCI Express cameras and its xiQ USB3 Vision-compliant cameras.
