High-speed PCI Express cameras from XIMEA achieves frame rates of up to 3500 fps

Expanding on its line of xiB-64 high-speed cameras with PCI Express (PCI) interface, XIMEA has announced the launch of the CB013 and CB019 cameras.

Expanding on its line of xiB-64 high-speed cameras with PCI Express (PCI) interface,XIMEAhas announced the launch of the CB013 and CB019 cameras. The CB013 camera features the 1.1 MPixel LUX13HS global shutter CMOS image sensor, which reaches a speed of 3500 fps at full resolution. The CB019 camera features the 2 MPixel LUX19HS global shutter CMOS image sensor, which reaches a speed of 2500 fps at full resolution. Both new camera models are available in color and monochrome versions and can stream data at speeds as high as 64 Gbit/s over distances of up to 300m. Additionally, the cameras feature trigger inputs and outputs, the XIMEA SDK/API, which enables users to choose from Windows, Linux, Mac OSX and can offer a full image processing pipeline on an NVIDIA GPU in real-time.
