The Harrier SDI Adapter from Active Silicon is designed to capture HD images and transfer them at high speeds. Video is received via BNC connector or over twisted-pair via RJ45 connector. Three parallel video outputs - 3G-SDI/HD-SDI, HDMI, and streaming USB Video Class v 1.1 via SuperSpeed USB Type-C connector – are also provided.

Remote camera control is available by connecting a PC to the adapter via SuperSpeed USB port or USB Micro-B port. RS-485 communications and video data can both be carried via Cat5 Ethernet cable connected between the adapter RJ45 port and the camera. The adapter decodes 3G, HD-SDI, and HD-VLC video streams.

Available as a board or as a standalone unit in a rugged housing, the Harrier SDI Adapter is scheduled for volume production in Q3 2019. Advance samples are currently available.
