May 9, 2023
Euresys joins a growing list of machine vision companies under the TKH Group umbrella.

TKH Group NV has acquired Euresys Group, which markets frame grabbers and software for 2D and 3D image analysis.

Euresys (Seraing, Belgium; www.euresys.com) employs 82 people, and about half of them work in R & D. Besides its headquarters, the company has operations in Germany, the United States, Japan, Singapore, and China.

Frame grabbers from Euresys include product lines for Camera Link and CoaXPress interfaces as well as non-standard analog image acquisition. It also markets FPGA IP cores.

In 2022, Euresys realized a turnover of € 27 million.

In explaining the acquisition, Alexander van der Lof, CEO of TKH Group (Haaksbergen, the Netherlands; www.tkhgroup.com), says, “The acquisition of Euresys fits our Accelerate 2025 strategy, in which we accelerate our growth both organically and through acquisitions. Euresys technology complements TKH’s existing and differentiating proprietary machine vision technologies, and adds strong software expertise, interface technologies, and know-how to our capabilities.”

TKH Group says the transaction, which was financed with existing resources, has closed.

TKH Group focuses on advanced technology in three areas: smart vision systems, smart manufacturing systems, and smart connectivity systems. TKH Group also owns SVS-Vistek, Allied Vision, Chromasens, LMI Technologies, Tattile, and Nerian Vision.
