The motion-analysis-systems division of Eastman Kodak Co. (San Diego, CA) and Silicon Mountain Design Inc. (Santa Clara, CA) have entered into a working relationship involving the manufacture and worldwide distribution of imaging technology and products. The first product is a Kodak Megaplus camera, Model ES 1.0/12-bit. . . . BrainTech Inc. (Vancouver, BC, Canada) has reached an agreement with NGI Technology Inc. (N. Billerica, MA) to enhance the NGI continuous-line SCAN image processing system

Billerica, MA) to enhance the NGI continuous-line SCAN image processing system with the BrainTech classifier (see Vision Systems Design, Jan. 1998, p. 32). The relationship is expected to realize advanced automated defect-inspection technology for rolled-steel production. . . . A developer of 3-D, 360 ¥ 360, patented immersive photography technologies, Interactive Pictures Corp. (New Orleans, LA) is working with Eastman Kodak Co. (Rochester, NY) to incorporate an IPIX imaging accessory hardware and software kit into Kodak`s DC200 digital science camera.
